This personal data privacy statement describes how ITANCIA, its subsidiaries and affiliate companies ("ITANCIA") respect all French and European regulations and legislation.
This statement may be modified at any time by ITANCIA, notably in order to comply with any future changes whether regulatory, jurisprudential, editorial or technical. Before browsing any ITANCIA website, the user must refer to the latest version of this statement. However, the user’s personal data will always be processed in compliance with the policy in force at the time such data is collected, unless an imperative legal restriction should require otherwise.
This privacy statement forms an integral part of the Itancia websites’ Terms and Conditions of Use. By using these websites or by submitting their personal information to ITANCIA, the user recognises having read, understood and accepted being bound by this personal data privacy statement.
This statement also sets out certain questions concerning the framework for the protection of personal data. ITANCIA undertakes to respect the French law on Information Technology and Freedoms (loi "Informatique et Libertés") No. 78-17 dated 6 January 1978, modified, together with the French law for trust in the digital economy (loi "pour la confiance dans l’économie numérique") No. 2004-575 dated 21 June 2004 (article L. 33-4-1 of the Posts and Telecommunications Code and article L. 121-20-5 of the Consumer Code) and regulation No. 2016/679, known as the general data protection regulations or GDPR.


ITANCIA collects data in order to provide products and services to customers and for the activities carried out by ITANCIA. Certain of this data will be provided directly, for example when a user creates an ITANCIA account, connects a device to an ITANCIA Cloud service, supplies equipment for maintenance or contacts ITANCIA to obtain assistance or for other services. ITANCIA receives this data by recording the way in which users interact with ITANCIA products and services, for example by using technologies such as cookies, by receiving error reports, or the usage data provided by software running on products supplied by ITANCIA.
The data collected by ITANCIA depends on the products, services and features used and may include the following elements:

Name and contact information. The information, including personal information, collected on the Websites or by other means, may include the name, job title, physical address, time zone, telephone number (including office or home, mobile and fax numbers), email address and other contact information. ITANCIA also collects the user’s contact and marketing preferences (telephone, email, postal mail, fax and text messages), the name and nature of the company, the language preferences and information concerning delivery and performance.
Verification of authority. ITANCIA collects the information used for authentication and account access.
Payment information. ITANCIA, or their payment service provider, collects the data required to process payments made for purchases from ITANCIA, such as the information concerning credit/debit cards, bank information, bank transfers and/or any other financial information associated with a payment.
Information concerning use. ITANCIA collects data on the way in which users and devices interact with ITANCIA products and services. For example, ITANCIA collects:
Data concerning the use of services. ITANCIA collects data on the use of services, Website activity data, performance data, information on product/service preferences, past purchase history and the website pages visited by the User.
Data concerning the device. As part of its technical support, ITANCIA may collect data concerning a peripheral, its operational condition, configuration, historical usage data, performance data and information concerning the network used to connect to and use ITANCIA products. This includes data concerning the operating system, applications and other software installed on the device, including product keys. This also includes the IP (Internet Protocol) address, network authentication, MAC address, other device identifiers, regional and language parameters.
Error reports and performance data. As part of its technical support, ITANCIA collects data concerning the performance of ITANCIA products and any problems encountered. This data helps in diagnosing problems encountered with products in order to improve ITANCIA products and to provide solutions. Depending on the product and the parameters, the error reports may include data such as the type or gravity of the problem, details of the software or the equipment concerned by an error, the condition of the peripheral, usage data, data content or that of the files being processed and data concerning other peripherals, networks or software with which the peripheral interacts.
Data concerning products being repaired. The peripherals returned to ITANCIA for repair must have had all personal data deleted. ITANCIA may collect data concerning any equipment, software and other details linked to the incident with the aim of monitoring the performance of the device and to improve its products.

Cookies. When visiting the websites certain types of data likely to include personal information may be collected, notably through the use of cookies. Cookies are small text files sent by a website to the hard disk of a user’s device in order to store information relating to that user or device. Cookies may store information concerning the peripheral and the users, notably IP addresses, browsing data, information on the server, the duration of data transfer, user preferences and the passwords required to have access to special areas within ITANCIA websites. ITANCIA uses cookies to make it easier to download documents from websites and for other commercial purposes such as analysing website traffic. If the user chooses to create a user profile, ITANCIA will use cookies to store the personal information concerning their profile. Their browser may be configured to block, reject, delete or deactivate cookies and other monitoring technology. However, if the user rejects or deletes cookies or any other monitoring technology, they may no longer be able to access certain pages or use important features, including being able to download documents and set up a user profile.
Other technologies. The websites also use IP addresses, log files and other technology to identify problems and website use. ITANCIA also uses Internet tags to carry out a standard website traffic analysis, in the same way that ITANCIA uses cookies, and to monitor website usage for statistical purposes. ITANCIA reserves the right to introduce new monitoring technologies and techniques linked to the use of the Websites, although ITANCIA will do so in full respect of the applicable regulations and laws on data protection.


ITANCIA uses, discloses, transfers and processes data, including personal information, in several ways. ITANCIA uses the data collected for three fundamental purposes:

When customers place an order, ITANCIA uses the personal information provided, including the payment information required to supply the products or services requested. If the user creates a user profile, ITANCIA will store the personal information required to manage the profile and to communicate with the user.  
Personal information can also, subject to the requirements of applicable law, be used, disclosed and transferred to law enforcement agencies and other persons should a situation arise where ITANCIA considers it necessary to identify, contact or take legal action against any person suspected of misusing the Websites, interfering with the rights of ITANCIA or of other users, or when ITANCIA has reasonable cause to believe that the law demands or authorises such disclosure.


ITANCIA shares personal information in order to carry out a transaction or to supply a requested product or service. ITANCIA may also disclose and transfer personal information to partners, suppliers and other third parties for the purposes set out in this Privacy Statement and to assist the operation of the Websites and/or any associated commercial transactions. If ITANCIA sells or divides all or any part of its activity, transfers assets or takes part in any other manner in a transaction that results in a change of control, or in the unlikely event of bankruptcy, ITANCIA may transfer the personal data covered by this policy to one or several third parties as part of the said transaction.

Other websites hosted by third parties may have different practices. If a user creates a link towards or visits other websites managed by third parties, they must consult the privacy rules published on the said websites. ITANCIA has no control over these websites and is not responsible for the policies and practices of any third party. 

Data conservation: 
Personal data is only retained for the length of time necessary and proportional to the end purpose for which it was collected.
ITANCIA undertakes to erase the data from its databases at the end of a period that is either predetermined by the parties concerned (manufacturers, customer, suppliers, etc.) or in line with CNIL (French data protection authority) regulations.


If the user wishes to access or update their personal information, or for any other request for information (including requests to cancel or erase) concerning the collection or processing of this information, the user must contact the ITANCIA websites via the "Contact" page or using the contact details given below.
Any refusal to provide personal information may limit the capacity of ITANCIA to respond to their request. 
In the event of a request to rectify or object to data, the user must indicate the Personal Data that they wish ITANCIA to correct, update or erase, by clearly identifying themselves. Requests for the erasure of Personal Data will be subject to ITANCIA’s legal obligations, notably those concerning the conservation or archiving of documents.
